About Holland Energy Fund (HEF)

The Holland Energy Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit supporting the City of Holland’s long-term Community Energy Plan. Our goal is for the Holland community to become a world-class leader in energy security, affordability, sustainability and efficiency. The Holland Energy Fund facilitates two programs (Holland Energy Fund Rebates and Home Energy 101) in partnership with the City of Holland, Holland Board of Public Works and Michigan Saves.

Michigan Saves is a nonprofit dedicated to making energy improvements easy and affordable. As a partner, Michigan Saves helps administer the HER and OBLP programs. They oversee the authorized contractors, loan origination, loan servicing, and quality control.

Holland Board of Public Works

Holland BPW provides essential, economical and innovative utility services for the Holland community, including electricity, water wastewater and broadband. Holland BPW operates socially and environmentally responsible utility enterprises that are able to expand and sustain a highly functional, reliable and efficient local infrastructure.

Semco Gas

SEMCO ENERGY Gas Company, headquartered in Port Huron, Michigan, is a regulated public utility that delivers natural gas to approximately 300,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers in service territories in the southern half of the state’s Lower Peninsula (including in and around the cities of Albion, Battle Creek, Holland, Niles, Port Huron, and Three Rivers) and in the central, eastern, and western parts of the state’s Upper Peninsula.
