Become a Home Energy Training Partner
To help educate our community, local nonprofit partners in the greater Holland community can become energy education partners! After completing a one-day train-the-trainer program, representatives of the partner agency can provide in-home energy efficiency education to those participating in the free program. Training partner agencies will receive $200 for each completed Home Energy 101 session.
Neighbors Educating Neighbors
Our community relies on your critical services and education for a variety of everyday needs and concerns. As relational experts in our community, your organization will provide trusted guidance to create greater equity in our community and connect neighbors with the resources to improve their homes and lives.
All team members from your organization who wish to educate program participants must attend a one-day (6-hour) training to become certified. After receiving certification, your team members will teach 60-90 minute Home Energy 101 sessions to City of Holland residents in their homes or apartments to provide basic energy savings education and help them learn how to use up to $300 worth of energy savings supplies.
